Multi-Roll High-Pressure Calendering
Calendering is a critical finishing stage where the fabric is passed through heated, heavily loaded roller nips. The intense combination of controlled heat, moisture, and mechanical pressure compresses the yarns.
Depending on the desired commercial aesthetic, our machines achieve delicate silk-touch luster, high-gloss chintz glaze, or structural flattening to close the fabric pore interstices for wind and water resistance.
Our calenders feature chilled cast iron rolls with induction heating and resilient elastic cotton/polyamide filled bowls that preserve yarn elasticity while smoothing the face.
